Overview

The WhatsApp handover tool hands an ongoing chat conversation (WhatsApp or LiveChat) to a human. It’s a tool you add to an assistant, and it performs an in-app handover: the conversation is taken over by a person inside the app.
Once a conversation is handed over, the AI stops responding autonomously — the conversation waits for a human response.

Adding the tool

Options

  • Notify by email — when enabled, sends a notification through your tenant’s SMTP when the handover starts.
  • Recipient email — the address that receives this notification.
